Foreword: Have you ever wondered what might be written in a letter received from the Apostle Paul after all these years?  His critique of the modern day Church just may be a surprise to so many Christians who think that they have Christ’s best interest at heart. The most difficult part of the process would be to whom would he send it to. Surely he would address it to the World wide Church of Jesus Christ. The problem with that is; what is the address to the true Church of Jesus Christ? Is your church the true Church? Is the true Church around the corner? Is the true Church in America or is it in London or France? If Christ’s return is determined by coming to receive a church which is “holy and without blemish." I don’t think he will be coming any time soon. However; according to the Bible Jesus did return for that Church in 70 AD and left a remnant of that Church. Where is that remnant now? This is what I perceive Paul would write.........

A  LETTER FROM THE APOSTLE PAUL

TO: The Church in the United States of America                                            

FROM: The Apostle Paul - Servant of our Lord Jesus Christ(In Heaven)

Dear BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST,
        It grieves my heart to find the Body of Christ to be in such a disarray and malfunctioning state. Daily I watch my Lord as he shed tears of sorrow from a broken heart. Our Lord’s heart is broken because the Church has gone the way of the wicked heart of man and has not followed Christ. I, Paul am dumbfounded to see that the writings of the Bible has been basically ignored and twisted to accompany the custom of men. I had asked the Church to not compare your selves among others but that is exactly what you have done. Remember in 2nd Corinthians in 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. The Church is now full of denominations and each denomination takes the scriptures and preaches them out of context while making up even their own doctrine.
       The Church of the USA has reverted back to the ways of the Old Law that Jesus came to fulfill and brought to fruition. The Old Law practices that are going on in the church buildings in these modern times does not please God who gave His only son in return that those rituals and ceremonies would be done away with. Why can’t you the Church accept the better promises to be free without the things from the Administrator of Death which is the Old Law. The Church is in a bad and reprobate state especially in the United States. I do not see your love for God nor do I see your love for one another. Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. I find that the teachings of Christ has all been in vain.
       The Lord sees and He moans of the blasphemous activities that is called worship in the body of Christ. Jesus made it very plain and simple that worship is not ceremonious instead it is in Spirit and Truth. There is no need for phony gatherings where some preacher stands in the pulpit and give you his interpretation of what the Bible says. There is no need for choirs that practice songs and participate in pagan dance rituals. There is no need of loud music and the so-called alter call. The alter call does nothing. Every heart that participates is the same heart after alter call; can’t you see this is all entertainment. Worship is not what you do with your hands or corporate gatherings it’s what you do with your heart and minds. Worship is in Spirit and in Truth.
       My Lord is perplexed as to why even record the Word of God if it is all taken for granted and everyone has their own meaning of what the Word says. It would behoove the Church to get away from the thousands of commentaries and let the scriptures interpret themselves. 2 Peter 1:Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. The Church of the USA lacks understanding especially when it comes to the things of my Lord.
       I, Paul went through plenty of trials and tribulations in trying to convey the message of salvation to the Church. For I was a minister taught only by Christ where there was no second hand message. The messages that I bought to you were of substance and truth. However; I did not realize that over the years the message would become as watered down as it is today.
        I, Paul with love admonishes the Church of the USA about Race. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Racial segregation is the greatest when you have so-called worship hour. If you all are one in Christ why are congregations so divided along racial lines? It’s because of the hardening of your hearts and trying to claim God as your own. God is not the God of one race but the God of all people. God does not cause segregation it is the people. You need to un-harden your hearts and live in unity. The blood of Jesus was red and that is the common factor of all people; it’s in the blood. My Lord sees and He knows all. He sees a black church. He sees a white church. He sees an Asian church. He sees a Latin church. He sees everything but the One True Church of Jesus Christ. Surely, America with your prejudices and bigotry you cannot be the one true church of Jesus Christ nor be there parts of. So where does that leave you America. It leaves you as spring leaves winter behind. It is a call to repentance to move on to a new beginning. My Lord is obligated to forgive and forget. As you press on to racial equality love your brothers and sisters though they be of different skin color. The blood is under the skin; it is all red.

       About this thing called “Tithing.” America. How can you proclaim to be one Church undivided when part of you practice Tithing and the other part of you do not. I, Paul lived on earth when tithing was an ordinance required of God’s select people. However; I did not pay tithes nor was I required to. I was not a farmer nor was I a rancher for one thing. Tithes were produce and livestock or anything that only God could make. The scriptures are so plain on tithing but modern man has almost made tithing an abomination to God. America, you need to get away from this self induced demon of tithing. You have become money driven and lustful behind riches. How dare you turn the word of God into a lie for your own personal monetary gains. As God did so chastise the Priest in the Book of Malachi so do I chastise those in authority who demand the Tithe through fear of a curse and intimidation. The Book of Malachi was written in admonition to the Priest in the Temple who were stealing the Tithe from God. Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. This verse explicitly says the Priest had robbed God and they, the Priest were cursed with a curse. It goes on to say that they, the Priest had robbed the whole nation of Israel by stealing the Tithe.  This verse has nothing to do with the modern day church. It is used as fear tactics in fleecing the congregations in your nation.
       I, Paul above many things chuckle under my breath when the hooping Pastor gets center stage on Sunday morning. What a spectacle. What a waste. That is nothing more than entertainment concealed and falsified as worship. Daily I ask God to have mercy on His creation. Where and why did all this come about? There is no truth in the theatrics of church services; its not worthy of the time spent to engage in such activity. But still the church think it is worship. Who shall remove the blinders from your eyes? If Jesus could not then who shall we say?

        The deception of the Spring and Fall Revival is liking to the days of the feast of the Passover which was abolished under the guides of the New Covenant. If you no longer celebrate the feast of the Passover, why are you celebrant of Spring and Fall Revivals?  PLEASE CHURCH THINK WHAT YOU ARE DOING. First, we must think. If something or someone needs reviving(Revival) it would reason that the thing or person must be dead or about to die. For the institutionalized Church to say Christ’s Church is dead or dying is to call the ever living God a LIE. If you were truly a part of the True Church of Christ you would know that The True Church is not dead or dying but very much alive. Revivals are another disguised contrivance to further monetary gains to enrich the coffers of the church building. It is very deceitful. How easy it is to read the amount of money taken up during a revival than it is to tell how many souls were actually saved if any? Your greed for money and power will be the fall of your institutionalized Church system. Even under the most sincere direction the pretense of raising Christ’s church from the dead is wrong. The next time the issue of revival comes up ask your self “who or what is dying or dead that needs resuscitation”? America has participated in revivals for years and years. Each year it’s the same thing over and over. How many revivals does it takes to revive whatever it is you are trying to revive or bring back to life. After all this time if its not back from the dead it should be very apparent that whatever it is it’s not coming back to life. The true Church of Jesus Christ is not dead or dying. Ephesians 3:21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.            
         I, Paul would like to remind you of the idolizing done by the children of Israel in the wilderness. As soon as Moses had went into the mountain and did tarry; the Children of Israel turned to idolize the Golden Calf. I submit to you America you have turned your back on Christ and you have begun to idolize the Pastor. Yes, you have made a god of the Pastor. You have overlooked and replaced Jesus with the Pastor and placed the Pastor on a pedestal high above all common people. You do not question his motive. You turn your back to his sin. You give abundantly to him while others sitting right next to you are really in need. You let him live vicariously rich while you can barely pay your utilities. Why do you reverence the pastor more than you do your own brother, sister, mother, father, children, spouses and yes even Jesus Christ Himself? You the congregation will let a pastor tell you anything without proving it or trying to verify it by simply studying scripture for yourself. This idolization is caused by your laziness to study. How do you know if someone is telling you the truth if you don’t know the Bible for yourself? It’s just that simple. The average pastor would favor your ignorance whereas you stay dependent on him/her. There really is no need to write scripture in this letter because even after the bible has been translated to English your drive to study is at an all time low. Your (Golden Calf) is the deceitful one of the body that will be soon cut off. The pastor directs your every move as you step onto the other idol that you have created(the church building grounds).  You the institutionalized Church receive tithes and offerings in the name of Jesus to give to the pastor. Why? Is he suppose to be the servant? He has a bank account funded by the monies you gave him. He takes your tithes and offerings to a bank where you probably cannot even get a loan. Yet the bank uses your tithes and offerings to become rich. Even if you can justify tithing in this modern age; which you cannot. Tithes were never used to pay the salary of a pastor nor anyone else in the church system.

       Another thing that grieves me is the pagan worship you have called Pastor’s Anniversary. Here again you shower this god with good gifts while ignoring your very surroundings of family and friends. Yet you give to the pastor in reverence and money but you get nothing in return except your weekly entertainment. Do you think this is pleasing to GOD? Can’t you see you are nothing more than a giving unit.
       Your (Golden Calf) is the deceitful one of the body that deceives themselves as well as the congregation. The headlines of the news media constantly harkens the troubles of this elated position you have created called Pastor. Pastors are raping children. Pastors are adulterous. Pastors are stealing. Pastors are lying. Pastor are selling drugs. Pastors are just demeaning the body of Christ. The list goes on and on. Yet you hold this office in such high esteem that you cannot see the damage being done. Shame on you America. The unbiblical office of pastor has grown by tradition into a hindrance both to church congregations and the pastors themselves. It surely is not what our Lord had in mind. What the pastor is doing these days is nowhere written about in the early church. None of the Apostles did what is going on today. The job that the pastor is doing appeared no where in the New Testament. In the USA church-goers are well aware that only a minority of members are active beyond attending weekly services. You can see that the modern institutionalized Church is a “spectator church.” Ninety-eight percent of the body is nothing more than spectators during the Sunday service. They watch and listen to the choir. They watch the collection plate pass around they sit and listen to the preacher. But when Jesus said he would build his "Church” he used the secular word ekklesia to refer to the body of believers, being similar to the concept of a town hall meeting.

        You America has this tradition of coming to a building, singing, putting some money in a plate, hearing a sermon, and going home. Pastors have forgotten that every believer in Christ is a priest unto Him and that the only authority within the church is Christ’s. The modern day pastor is not only unbiblical but also contrary to the headship of Jesus Christ. I pray you Christians read this letter with an open mind and heart. However, those of you who has vested interest in today’s pastor will feel the sting. Those who are opposed to vested interest will feel the liberty. Christ is the Head of the church not the pastor. The early church didn’t have useless functions like usher boards and ushers, special music and Sunday school attendance; which have nothing to do with the maturing of the saints. In the early church all were functional or training towards it. The word “pastor” doesn’t occur in the New Testament. The word “pastors” occurs ONCE. Ephesians 4: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:. How does pastor worship edify the body of Christ? Does tithing? No. Truth only.

Below is an excerp from one of the letters I wrote centuries ago to the church at Thessalonia- I cannot find these traits in your pastors.  For the appeal we make does not come from error or impurity or with deceit, but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we declare it, not to please people but God, who examines our hearts.  For we never appeared with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed – God is our witness –  nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others, although we could have imposed our weight as apostles of Christ; instead we became little children among you. Like a nursing mother caring for her own children, with such affection for you we were happy to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. For you recall, brothers and sisters, our toil and drudgery: By working night and day so as not to impose a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God. You are witnesses, and so is God, as to how holy and righteous and blameless our conduct was toward you who believe. As you know, we treated each one of you as a father treats his own children, exhorting and encouraging you and insisting that you live in a way worthy of God who calls you to his own kingdom and his glory.  I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
         I ask you America to change your ways and come truly unto God the father and be restored in his son Jesus Christ. Still I exhort you on as you continue on your journey. My critique of you is one with love and that by my sharing my judgement upon you, you will stride to press more toward Jesus. It is my desire that you become a part of the True Church of Jesus Christ and become less of a man made spectacle. As I said once “My Lord is obligated to forgive and to forget”. The credentials that you now hold exempts you from being that True Church.  You must learn to be led by the spirit and not the carnality of man. To persist in things as they are will only continue to lead you down the path of wickedness. Your down fall shall continue as one pastor turn closed eyes to the sins of another pastor. There is no room in the Kingdom of god for an Idolater. That is what your nation has become, a nation of Idolaters where the pastor and the church building has become idols.  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

A LETTER FROM APOSTLE PAUL© 2014 Is a perception of what might be written to a sinful nation from an Apostle that has gone on to Heaven. This is written to try and get the saints to look at there ways and to ask themselves some questions regarding their faith in Christ. It is not hard to see that the church in America is on the wrong path and needs to redirect its priorities. No pastor nor church building should be made priority such as we do continuously. Our only priority should be Jesus and Jesus along.
